For our second visa-mandated vacation, we travelled to Mendoza, Argentina and from there we entered Chile. We traveled for two weeks, visiting the malbec wine country of Mendoza, bused through the Andes Mountains, walked in the Pacific Ocean, hiked to a glacier, bar fights, and even a water park. Luckily, we had no problems with transportation and hotels/hostals. Maybe that makes a less eventful trip but we were happy to arrive to our destinations on the days we had chosen. We like to think we are experienced travelers who know what we're doing.
