For our thrid and final visa-mandated vacation, we traveled to Bariloche, Argentina to visit Patagonia in Chile and Argentina. We traveled for two weeks, visiting the city of Bariloche, Pumalin Park in Patagonia, Chile, and the lake and port cities of Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas, and Frutillar. We travelled by plane, bus, colectivo, remis, taxis, mini colectivo, and even rented a car, which was taken by the police after one day. There were snow-capped mountains, glaciers, crystal clear waters, shopping, haggling in the markets, knife fights, and at one point so much fear given to a local business owner to make his hands shake and voice crack.
